This bag is filled to ~ one pound of product, heated to ~85°F, vibrated to remove excess air and then sealed to prevent contamination. Processing the product in this manner helps to prevent excess gas from being released and pressurizing the bag. At lower temperatures this bag will appear to be in a vacuum, and higher temperatures will cause the bag to expand as air is released from charcoal pores.
